Parenting as a Spiritual Practice

- “PARENTING AS A SPIRITUAL PRACTICE” BEGINS THIS SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27 AT 9 AM: Is it possible that the demands of parenting — changing diapers, arbitrating sibling disputes, reading a bed-time stories, negotiating screen time, surviving toddler/teen tantrums—can be understood as a spiritual practice? Parenting as a Spiritual Practice is an opportunity for parents of children and youth to come together and explore their struggles and joys in the endeavor of parenting. Each month, we will explore a different topic (communication, life/work balance, Grace & parenting, etc.). At the first gathering we will discuss which topics we would like to cover during the year. Beginning this Sunday, the group will meet on the last Sunday of the month, from 9-10am in the Nursery School (downstairs). Sunday school is available for children 3 and up and nursery care is available for children under 3. The group will be facilitated by Christy Fritz.
