RECOVERY SUNDAY, MAY 21: At both services on May 21, we celebrate God in action in people’s lives. Recovery comes in every shape and form. In a real sense it is a name for the Spiritual Journey as we seek to reclaim and recover our identity as children of God. On May 21, a member of St. Michael’s, Ray Egan, will share his experiences of recovery. The service reflects this theme in readings and prayers. Recovery Sunday is becoming a tradition at St. Michael’s having been celebrated in the past five years. Instead of wine, we will use grape juice for communion on this day.
