Speaking of Faith: Stories of Christ-Centered Practices

March 4, 2015 @ 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm

ST. MICHAEL’S 2015 LENTEN SERIES

Speaking of Faith: Stories of Christ-Centered Practice

St. Michael’s vision – a Christ-centered Community of Practice awakening to the abiding presence of God – is about the integration of one’s faith and one’s life.    Each Wednesday evening in Lent, Mary Lindquist will interview one individual from our parish about his/her life,  formation and particular practices.   We will end the evening with a chance to try out and/or engage in the practice that has been presented.    The practices will involve prayer with art and icons (Zachary Roesemann, February 22), intercessory prayer (Karen Guthrie, March 4), Christ-centered mindfulness in daily life (Karin Bleecker, March 11), the practice of service and social action (Christopher Wesolowski, March 18), and the practice of joining earth sustainability and spirituality (Cary Gaunt, March 25).   Come to part or all of the evening.   These events are open to the public and all are welcome.
