The Plattsburgh State Gospel Choir Concert

THE PLATTSBURGH STATE GOSPEL CHOIR TO PERFORM AT ST. MICHAEL’S ON MARCH 11, 5 – 6:30 PM: Next Saturday, March 11, from 5-6:30 pm, the Plattsburgh State Gospel Choir will offer a concert at St. Michael’s during their choir tour of New England. We are thankful to Imogene Drakes, St. Michael’s member, who used to sing in the Plattsburgh State Gospel Choir and suggested St. Michael’s as a venue. The Choir’s director, Dextor Criss, says this about the choir: The demographics of the choir ranges from 13 years to over 73 years in age. We have local North Country members in the choir and many more from the Caribbean and as far away as Korea. Our repertoire ranges in scope; spirituals, traditional gospel, contemporary gospel, Christian and praise and worship.
